cybuch
Does anyone know if I can use an ecobee 4 and a remote sensor as the only input for the ecobee? What I want to do is replace my existing C4 therms with ecobees. My current C4 therms are mounted in the laundry room with remote wired sensors as the only input to the C4 therm. I just don't know if that is possible with ecobee 4. I want to keep them all in the laundry room but mount remote wireless sensors so the laundry room temperature doesn't affect the ecobees. I hope I didn't confuse things with my way of thinking.
msgreenf
Yup. That's not a problem. You just map the sensors to the modes Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
tcwalker5
This might be a good option for me. I can't seem to find any specs on the sensors or capabilities. so a few questions: 1) does it do humidity via the remote sensors 2) can it handle multiple room zones (i have 8 c4 thermostats) and 2 air handlers 3) can the motion trigger other events such as lighting control

Is there a benefit I could be overlooking? Biggest thing is the temp sensors just remove the wall thermostat from an individual room. Or you can tell the thermostat the temp in another room that the tstat isn't located. So not much use now.
