texas3622
Does anyone know how to integrate a heat and glo fireplace? It functions with a remote and my builder forgot to wire it to a switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

texas3622
It is RF. There is a junction box with the receiver at the bottom of the fireplace. This is what received the commands from the remote Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Matt Lowe
yea you could if you got an extra remote and two relays to control you could simulate button press of each button and control it using the remote attached to your c4 system
Godzilla
sounds like you could just use a Card Access relay (wireless)

ericscales
I do wish they'd bring back the fireplace switch. I have the last generation before they discontinued it and love it. Guess it was not widely adopted.
texas3622
Can my dealer just swap out the receiver that is already there with the card access one or is this more complicated than that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lippavisual
No, they should be able to install a wireless relay from cardaccess to control the relays on the fireplace.
texas3622
Do you know where that is? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LSDave
Any capable dealer should be able to get this working. Most likely the 2 wires coming out of the "remote" module just close a contact input on the ignition module. It can be confirmed with a simple multimeter. And if thats the case, just use a card access relay like someone else has suggested if you cannot run a wire to the fireplace.
