Brad_The_Lucky
Anybody know if an older generation C4 switch would work with three of these lights? http://www.bigasslight.com/homes-shops/
Matt Lowe
you should be just fine. Badass light imo
SMHarman
Switch would not even care about 366w of light. The dimmer will do 600 with the fins clipped off. Light the bad ass garage night.
Cyknight
Switch would not even care about 366w of light. The dimmer will do 600 with the fins clipped off.Light the bad ass garage night. Caution. Dimmer info is inaccurate. Rating based off of clipped fins is outdated be numerous years, including for the older style lighting. For previous gen dimmers:Normal dimmer 1000W single gang, 800w dual gang, 600w if more than that (even IF you only take one side of fins off).ELV: 600/500/400 For the newer dimmers the rating is more complex (and far more accurate) with ratings based on type of load. On OP - yep you should be perfectly fine.
SMHarman
Thanks. I'm thinking incandescent not LED. The unrush on those big ass lights must be pretty heavy.
Cyknight
High yes, but the lights are well made and for LED they actually aren't bad. - Do note that I was commenting that a SWITCH should be fine - not a dimmer. Personally I think they're awful but hey, that wasn't the question.
