outmotoring Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I bought a used 7" touchscreen on 2.1.1.137228 but my system is on 2.9.1.532460. What is the upgrade path to get this TS to be up to date? Can it be updated to 2.5.3 or does it need to be on a older version first and if so which version and what is the next update required to then get it on 2.9.1? Cyknight Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 You can update to 2.5.3 just fine, you cannot update from PRE 2.2 to POST 2.6 directly, but there is also a program available to dealers that can flash any version to (almost) any device to any version (T3 is the exception aa is the ability to only use certain devices to certain version) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tried the reimage tool several times and SSH port is disabled somehow so it can’t connect to do the restore. Ended up getting a new screen. Not sure if the factory restore image was defective.
