12V Trigger Question

Guys,

If using four amplifiers that don’t have load detection, but have 12V triggers, how would this work? Would the trigger be initiated from the C4 controller to AMP1 via the 12V trigger in and then in/out to AMP2, so on and so forth? So when any zone is turned on anywhere in the home, all amps turn on? Seems odd they all need to come on at all times, but may be no other way?

There's an 8 zone amplifier driver in composer, designed for the Control4 108 amp, but can be used with others as well.

It provides audio line inputs, endpoints, a contact and a trigger connections. Make your bindings, and amp will be powered as needed. 4 amps: 4 instances of driver, 4 relay connections to controller.

For pure discrete control, each amp will require its on 12v trigger.  Any zone that pops on an individual amp will then turn that specific amp on and not the whole stack.

As answered above, there are drivers already and you will require 4 of them. 1 for each amp.

No you provide one amp trigger for each amp so you would have a total of 4 12v triggers coming off of controller.
