Tech Junkie Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 Will a C4 IP device (say an EA-1) show up with an IP on my network or as a read-only item in Composer HE, if I connect it to the network prior to a dealer adding the device into the project? sonic30101 Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 An EA will pull an IP and you probably can connect but the project will be blank so there is nothing you will be able to do. You can not program or do anything with it in HE until after it is added. If it is not appearing on your network you will need to do a network reset to dhcp.
