I’ve got 2 out of my 30 that don’t make the click when you press them. I’ve moved them to lower traffic rooms but it’s annoying for sure. It feels like they are stuck but still registers the press. Happened to both after about 18 months of ownership.

You explained it better than I did. It’s plaguing 1 out of every 10 for me and most are less than a year.

If they are under TWO years it should be warranty. Some earlier versions had a habit of having some excess material on the pin and/or the button that made them rough to handle, but I've not seen or heard of an issue with the 'click' not being felt unless it was because the button was not moving correctly (either due to issue above, a face plate that was too tight or a device that is screwed down to far warping the plate)

The best way to know for sure is to take the cover plate off. Standard coverplate cutouts are a bit more snug so the sides of the rocker can sometimes rub or stick. Control4 coverplates have a bit more forgiveness.... And they look sexier...

This is all with no faceplate. Almost like the keys are installed wrong. This one happens to be a fan switch. My others have a nice “push” feel, but this particular one is stiff as though you’re almost not getting movement. I’ll remove the buttons tomorrow. It had a standard fan config, so I really didn’t try to pull it apart yet. I’ll let you know.

I’ve had this with some KCs as well. Reconfiguring and reseating didn’t help. Almost like the nice flex is out of the tin.
