mrcsx Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 I’ve got 2 out of my 30 that don’t make the click when you press them. I’ve moved them to lower traffic rooms but it’s annoying for sure. You explained it better than I did. It’s plaguing 1 out of every 10 for me and most are less than a year. Some earlier versions had a habit of having some excess material on the pin and/or the button that made them rough to handle, but I've not seen or heard of an issue with the 'click' not being felt unless it was because the button was not moving correctly (either due to issue above, a face plate that was too tight or a device that is screwed down to far warping the plate) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dcovach Posted February 8, 2020 Share Posted February 8, 2020 The best way to know for sure is to take the cover plate off. Standard coverplate cutouts are a bit more snug so the sides of the rocker can sometimes rub or stick. Control4 coverplates have a bit more forgiveness.... And they look sexier... Time2Jet Posted February 8, 2020 Author Share Posted February 8, 2020 This is all with no faceplate. Almost like the keys are installed wrong. This one happens to be a fan switch. My others have a nice “push” feel, but this particular one is stiff as though you’re almost not getting movement. I’ll remove the buttons tomorrow. It had a standard fan config, so I really didn’t try to pull it apart yet. I’ll let you know. I’ve had this with some KCs as well. Reconfiguring and reseating didn’t help.
