chudel
Hello, Is it possible to change the LED brightness on Keypads? For example, I'd like to dim the keypad brightness down to 20% or so between 11pm and 6am.
South Africa C4 user
Yes, the best way to do this is in Monitoring / System Design where you can change the brightness level based on the ambient light in the room. I must admit I did this years ago when we first set up my system, so can’t recall exactly where / how... but I do know it was pretty simple and has worked flawlessly for years. My dealer did the exact same thing at my holiday home more recently, and again, it has worked perfectly.

Thanks - I think my keypads may be too old to have this feature.
zaphod
I am pretty sure that you can't do this on Gen 1 keypads. But you can just permanently shut off the LEDs or do it on a sched.
brucecampbell
If you have the old 6 button/3 button - all you do is use the colour pallet to select a dimmer colour option. Do this with programming rather than any system design option. I do this for the dimmers in my kids bedrooms.

Sorry, I assumed (dangerous!) that you were using Gen3 lighting. See above comments for how to do this in your scenario.

brucecampbell
Your dealer can see in the project what gen/versions your hardware is. But if you look at the physical aspects - there are clear differences between the early lighting hardware and the existing stuff.
