HC800- 4sale question

I just swapped out a HC-800 for the EA-5.  Is it possible for me to sell it?  I hate to just throw it out.

Never heard that before unless something has changed on Control4's side.  I've swapped out equipment many times and re-sold it here and on other sites.

This has never happened to my knowledge.

In the end you bought the device, it's yours to sell.

Now, same rules as always apply - it's dealer setup, it'll be supported as-is, warranty is likely expired and so on.

The only time I remember something like this was when they were doing controller upgrade promotions to get people off of the old HC1000s.  You had to send in proof they were destroyed.  Or something like that.

I upgraded to an EA-5 and kept the HC800 to use for my garage door openers and some motions etc... Not sure what they go for used, but I'm glad I kept mine.

Old V1's? Something like that - but that's a whole different situation, where you get a huge discount to turn in your old device (much like sales where you bring in your old phone for discount on a new one)
