Time2Jet
I’m having problems with figuring out how to program a playlist/favorite to a Keypad button. Just never did it before considering I don’t do much for our C4 clients, only my own system. I’ve got a Sonos Favorite programmed to a KC button and it launches and I have volume control. I can’t figure out how to program a second intuitive push to turn it off. I want a guest to understand. I also would like to be able to scroll through lists with button presses. I have access to most music services if Sonos isn’t the right choice for this. I am experimenting and added a room control driver, but haven’t set it up yet. Is that the easier way? Secondly, has anyone been able to program a custom remote button to cause Sonos night mode, etc to activate? mstafford388
when button is pressed if current selected audio source in room x is sonos -> turn room off -> stop select sonos favorite in room x

This will manage that?

This will manage that? Not exactly clear to me. Care to elaborate? Anyone have a screenshot of code? I get all of that, but it still isn't looking intuitive, maybe it is ... don't know. Maybe I should be programming off the Room Control Driver instead. I mean, I have it playing a Sonos favorite on a press (or should I do a tap?), change playlists on double tap and triple tap and any additional press would turn it all off. Maybe that's the best I can do, but I didn't have to use a ton of code @mstafford388
azkid
they mean something like this Time2Jet

Same result with a little more (scroll through 3 playlists). Problem I am encountering is that my triple tap playlist will turn off like all others upon a press, but when I come back to a single tap, playlist that I left starts instead of the single tap playlist. Am I making sense?
Time2Jet
So that's all relatively solved with some tweaking. I have more luck programming off of "Press" versus 1 tap. 2 and 3 taps do exactly what I want (move the a playlist programmed). Now I want to try to add zones (ie LR - all of this now is kitchen). It'd be nice to add the LR sometimes.
Time2Jet
If the Room Control Driver is the best solution. I'd love to see it setup. I don't find the setup that intuitive.
South Africa C4 user
The room control driver is great but you do still need to program the logic for when you want it to join various rooms together... Time2Jet
tekki70
i like to use room control driver, and with 2 buttons on a keypad, 1 button just cycles through the various favorites i setup, the 2nd button will also cycle through but will have other rooms join as well. default volumes setup i also like to use picos, and i have a few picos around the house setup to cycle through music for that particular room and control the volume for said room
