daveva
Having some trouble with my DSC alarm system. Hope some owners with the system might be able to help. I have two zones that needed a battery change in the sensors. Changed the battery in both but it still says low battery on the keypad screen. The odd thing is the T3 screen gives no indication of trouble or open zone. I've never had this problem before changing the sensor battery. Anyone have any suggestions ? neil.patel
Is it a powerseries? I have found that those sometimes need a power cycle to see an immediate battery change update. I don't believe the supervisory of the sensor is a "live" update as with rf devices they are set to minimize communication to the panel. I would try unplugging the backup battery and cycle the panel
OceanDad
Definitely do a full power cycle.
Cyknight
Usually arming (bypass as needed) and disarming will clear it too.
