Dueport
Has anyone tried integrating a hidden/invisible dog fence system into C4? There are two newish connected dog fence solutions from Invisible Fence (called the Boundary Plus Smart System) and Dog Watch (called SmartFence). In both cases the system will send your phone a notification if your dog leaves the fenced area. I don’t know if there are APIs for these systems but it seems hugely useful to have it integrated for C4 so you could program announcements and visual notifications on displays if the dog breaches the fence - and you’d be more likely to hear or see the notification than if it was just on your phone. Has anyone explored this option? We’re installing a hidden/invisible fence in the spring and if one could be integrated that would be decisive in choosing between the two. eggzlot
The second one seems to be a web app. There is a web events driver that maybe could do the trick msgreenf

If a software solution isn’t available maybe I could solder onto something on the controller (led or speaker or something that triggers if the dog gets out) and connect it to a dry contact on the I/o extender then program off that. Not for the faint of heart given the cost of the fence systems though.....

I’ve never used it but I believe it takes stuff from the web and can put it in c4 as a variable. He will correct me if I am wrong
Neo1738
Not sure but would a Kasa outlet with voltage/wattage changes work?
