Craigy Posted February 23, 2021 Share Posted February 23, 2021 I am building a new house. Currently I have scoped data feeds (power over Ethernet) to all windows. I wish to centrally control all blinds and don’t want any batteries, I understand this is all QMotion require. BUT in U.K. QMotion are dealer run and very expensive. I would like to purchase blind and curtain motors direct, wire the windows and of course have C4 control them. Any suggestions on other manufacturers I could use where I can get the motors direct. You would likely get more responses from people with knowledge here if the subject line was something other than "Craigy" 2. If I understand the question, you want to run your blind motors purchase yourself and not through a dealer. I think you can order Somfy direct, you can order Graber/Bali direct. 3. Blinds seems like a waste of a POE power budget. Just wire for AC as stated above, buy DC12V transformer box (or whatever UK equivalent is) and you have a lot of options.
