NSane1
I have Google Home integrated with C4 to use voice commands. I have programmed many actions using composer. However one thing I haven't figured out is how to have a C4 activity (Motion sensor detects motion for example) trigger Google Home to do something like make an announcement. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks

South Africa C4 user
Not sure about Google Home but this is now possible (but very clunky) for Alexa with a combination of IFTTT, Alexa Routines and Alexa voice monkey. That said, I have found it much better to use a decent text to speech driver (like the one from Jooced) and play the announcement through in-ceiling speakers. Thanks you could use some text to speech announcements and some other things to announce what is happening. depending on other products in your home there are various ways for Control4 to give you feedback natively. jlemonakis
You can use C4 to broadcast messages over Google home but I don't know if it supports the newest discrete room broadcast functionality yet, and development stopped.. But this will allow you to do what you're talking about. https://assistantrelay.com/ However this will not allow you to feed COMMANDS into Google home.
