Liftmaster MyQ Support

Hi, kind on confused after perusing the forum.  Does C4 have reliable support for Liftmaster MyQ garage door openers? Do you need to purchase a driver for this?

Short answer is no.

The slightly longer answer is, there is no existing , for sale, driver for MyQ service integration, nor is there likely to be at this time.

Meaning that in order to integrate a MyQ garage door, you'll need either get the garadget adapter (they have 3 options now including multi-door with included press button) to wire to a C4 controlled relay (such as a z2io or controller) IF it's compatible with your door (note the incompatible models) OR solder to your button(s) yourself (basically, the garadget pieces are pre-soldered replacement buttons)

Oh, didn’t realize they added more options including wireless controllers, that will make life much easier moving forward!

Yep, though they are battery powered - something to keep in mind if nothing else.
