dw886
This seems like this should be easy, but how do you set a parameter to the current time? (Same question for "Date"...) I'm looking to add the "time" to an announcement string. I am thinking that I can trigger on the announcement action to set a variable to the current time, and then include that into the announcement string. I looked through the system variables that are running on my project, and I don't see anything that I can re-use...
fleon
Hmm. If you are using Voice Genie, you can use %TIME. I'm not sure if this is a system variable or one in Voice Genie, however.
booch
This is a little far out, but you could create a recurring timer that adds to a variable every minute, then a macro that reads that variable and inserts it into another variable for your current time. There's got to be an easier way though!
alanchow
Our advanced announcements driver has the ability to convert time for audio announcements. Use TIME{} DAY{} DATE{} as part of the text and it'll convert it https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-advanced-announcements
