dilip
Hi Everyone my control4 google home integration stopped working recently. It coincided with the renewal of the 4Sight licenses. Google kept saying that it could not reach control4. I’ve tried the following - removed google home and reinstalled - removed and tried to re-add control4 devices. - security ticked and unticked. It initially says Control4 linked then it says Something went wrong.
msgreenf
I had the same problem. I have to go and reconnect the service in Google Assistant. Once I did that everything communicated again
dilip
Thanks I tried this on my phone and on my wife’s phone. No good
YseanY
Any luck on solving this? I'm having the same problem though I don't think it had to do with 4sight. My renewal was back in April. Tried unlinking and linking again and it won't add any of the devices. Says linked but something went wrong and no devices shows up.
msgreenf
When I had this problem I had to delete the Google Assistant driver, add it back and then relink
YseanY
Yup, tried that as well and still doesn't work. Tried rebooting the controller too. 4Sight appears to be working. The system can be accessed remotely. And in the customer portal, when changes are being saved on the voice command page, error: "An unexpected error occurred while saving changes. Please try again later." shows up.
YseanY
Still can’t get this to work. @dilipdid you ever get this resolved?

It uses the Google Assistant driver. There was an update to it for os 3.3.0 but no subsequent updates
YseanY
Need to check the version but I’m pretty sure it’s up to date for 3.2.4 (recall it was Jan 2022).
k3nnis
Has this been resolved?
YseanY
Nope, still not linking.
YseanY
Driver version is 121 and I don't seem to see a new version available for 3.2.4.
msgreenf
It's something with your setup. There is no universal problem.
YseanY
Odd, the project was untouched when it stopped working. It just suddenly stopped. I’ll try restoring to a prior backup and see if it comes back.
YseanY
Tried restoring to previous backups before Google stopped working, still getting the same error. Also updated to OS 3.3.0 and still can't fix it, I'm still seeing 121 as the latest update for OS 3.3.0. When I remove the Google Assistant driver, the customer portal still has all of the devices under voice command, if I recall correctly, without driver, the devices shouldn't show up? One thing I noticed also was in the customer portal, the When/Then page is not working, it give an error that the session is expired and to log in and out again. Despite re-logging in, the expired session still occurs.

YseanY
I didn’t. Reboot did it and looks like it solved my google problem. so those with google not linking, unregistering, reregistering, and reboot seemed to have fixed it. Neo1738
