eggzlot Posted August 14, 2022 Share Posted August 14, 2022 I got an older DSC Power series (1832 or something like that) Years ago we removed 2 windows in our kitchen and added a door in there to go to the patio. It was never relabeled properly so there is no delay for exit/entry. So if the alarm is on and we enter that door the alarm goes off ASAP I have the master code to the panel (when doing C4 install the installer gave it to me to work with the C4 dealer). anyone have any simple instructions on how to change a zone from a “window” to a “door” or just “Add” an entry/exit delay on a zone? Most of what I have found so far (well really all that I found) was how to change the amount of time in the exit/entry delay. Not yet on how to change a zone to allow it to take advantage of the predefined time of an entry/exit delay.
