ajsonnick Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Aside from integrating into C4, what is everyones opinion on Qolsys IQ4 VS ClareOne system for a home alarm? Quote
cannemi Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I have the Qolsys IQ4 and it works great, I have had zero issues since I moved to it about 4 years ago Quote
ekohn00 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I looked into the Clare, but ended up going wit the Qolsys simply to get a LOT more options of monitoring services. At the time, is seemed Clare could only be ordered/installed and series through C4 dealers. Qolsys was easy to install replacing my old concord system and integrates nicely with C4. I was able to get a much less expensive monitoring service too. Quote
Cyknight Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 We are looking to add ClareOne as a regular option (just testing right now), but Qolsys is a good overall option. Integrates fine (there are some limitations), has monitoring options via Alarm.com for self monitoring AND many monitoring services can tie into it via alarm.com The ClareOne is looking to be a really nice panel though. Scrib Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 I pulled out my NX-8E for Qolsys and have been much more satisfied. So much easier to program, I've added water leak sensors, Smoke/CO2 tied back into Qyolsys. It's just easier for my residential needs. Quote
ajsonnick Posted February 18, 2023 Author Posted February 18, 2023 Went with Clare and LOVE IT! They both seem like solid options. Quote
