chopedogg88 Posted March 7, 2023 Share Posted March 7, 2023 do you know if your system was being backed up to the Control4 cloud? that would be the only other place to get a backup of the project, if it wasn't backed up locally by yourself or your dealer. otherwise I would be happy to assist you in re-building the project, I am a remote dealer & programmer. Matt Lowe Posted March 7, 2023 Share Posted March 7, 2023 PSA: do not factory reset your primary controller. Most issues plaguing the system can be resolved with other means. This does not mean you have to call a dealer for every problem, but C4 does have more tools available to help restore a system if it is not working. Sorry this happening to you and @chopedogg88 is great and should be able to get you back up and running as long as the controller is not defective and if you know what you had in your entire project. This would also be a good time for anyone that does not have a recent back up of their project to make one, or to turn on the cloud back up if you system is capable. BY96 Posted March 7, 2023 Share Posted March 7, 2023 Just to be sure, each time I exit Composer HE, it asks me to do a back-up? Takes a few minutes. Is this the only back-up to be done? Or is there another one I should be doing regularly? Edit - I checked the C4 website, and it looks like the system is automatically backing my build up to the cloud in addition to the the backups I do manually in HE. Thanks!
