Rob21
Hey guys. I am nearly finished with my backyard audio install, but I am wondering if there is a way for me to create a "DJ input." All of my audio is currently sourced from my Core5 Controller and distributed through a triad audio matrix. Would it be as simple as bringing the DJ's audio directly into one of the digital or analog audio inputs on my controller? The goal is to have the DJ use my backyard speakers rather than his own. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
Cyknight
I wouldn't suggest pushing it to the controller as it'll get digitized and delayed, if you have a free input on the audio matrix, that would be the way to go. A driver will need to be added so the system knows the 'device' is there (you could use turntable experience button, or any driver really) msgreenf
RAV
A compressor/limiter is a good idea when taking an output from a DJ setup to protect the residence higher fidelity speakers and amplifiers. https://www.rdlnet.com/product.php?page=
