Willt
My wife keeps asking me what the "4" in Control4 represents. I don't have an answer... Anyone? Thanks,Will
henniae
I would guess it is a cute way of saying "Control for" as in Control for your house. Sort of like 4Sale.
ILoveC4
I think the 4 represents control of audio, video, lighting and climate. Just my guess...
CFUG
I vote for "Control for All" or Control4 for short. Dan's is a good one seeing is C4 never got into security but I wouldn't be pushing climate control too much if I were them

3fingerbrown
just for the record, I love my C4 thermostats and never have had an issue.
CFUG
Most every post about a problem has included two points:1. The deadband is rather large and keeps the equipment running longer than desired.2. The thermistor almost always requires correction in the software. Brad_The_Lucky
just for the record, I love my C4 thermostats and never have had an issue.Same here - guess I've been lucky. Also, it's probably the most used feature in my house since I'm constantly adjusting them (remotely) despite their running a set program.
CFUG
^I'd say you have other issues with your house if you need constant comfort correction

bsanf3
just for the record, I love my C4 thermostats and never have had an issue.Another of the lucky ones, I've never had a problem with my thermostats and it's one of the main reasons I bought C4 (got tired of going up/down three floors to change the tempature). CFUG
^ So you threw them on the wall, checked them against a "standard" and found no discrepancy?
