Good luck! I must say it sounds strange. I am using the DSC driver with the new security proxy and when the dealer set it up we had to choose how many partitions to load and it named them correctly. Can you see all your zones wishing the new security system? It is just possible that your dealer added partition 1 and called it partition 2... But that would be a bit silly! Your dealer is correct that your master code will need to be entered.

I think that you have answered your own question. You can't expect to arm partition 1 when trying to control partition 2. If your actual system only has 1 partition then you need to ask your dealer why he has set up more than one partition on C4 (or why he as set up partition 2 rather than 1 which really won't work). You could try clicking (not sure that one clicks with ones finger... But clicking sounds more correct than touching) where it shows Partition 2. This should give you the option to change to partition 1. You can then try arming from there. That said, reading your description, I am a bit doubtful as to whether partition 1 will have been set up correctly? My best advice is to call your dealer!

Looking at the new UI configuration agent, I suspect that they can really build on this... Maybe bookmarks in OS2.81...

Well we got screensavers for the T3 which is a big step forward and I will now buy one more and put one of my older Touchscreens out to pasture... But we really need bookmarks soon (then I will buy another one and junk an old one). But until we get StartHere or equivalent (which lets me control all my Boolean variables - easily with feedback - from aTouchscreen) I will be keeping an old touch screen in one location...

Agreed! I spent the first week or two fiddling with my thermostat settings 2 winters back (all on my iPad and composer HE) then it was perfect for the whole of winter. This last winter I had to fiddle again for a day or two but only because we had added insulation in the interim and thus the 'perfect' setup was now different... Next winter I expect to press one button (a StartHere button marked 'winter') and hey presto, thermostat schedules will start, my heatpumps will come on and programming will activate...

You definitely want native C4 thermostats... Not pretty, but easy to integrate!

Yeah... I have one T3 and it is fast and slick... But I won't be updating my other 3 Touchscreens to T3 until I get photo screen savers, bookmarks, custom home and the Start Here App... Or something equivalent / better than all of these... But I have my fingers crossed!

I guess 2.8 will give us some feel for all of this...

Does anyone know when we will start to see Apps for the T3 Touchscreens? I am just itching to have something new to play with on my single T3... The possibilities must be endless!
