    certainly looks nicer

If you want to channel surf good luck without digit buttons (does not matter to me but I have to assume that matters to a good % of TV users)

Channel Surf, I thought it has tactile channel and volume buttons, which is ideal, totally agree.

Put a 300 to be the Master Controller and you'll be ok.

A 200 is for Standalone Only! Exception: If all 13 of your 200's are running their own system and you are not trying to link them together..

We'll, with 3.0 the hc200s are obsolete, right?

  3. Congrats Jake on being a dealer! Make sure you get the gear for your home first and spend 50% of your time installing and reinstalling it at your home for about 90 days. That includes controllers, sr260s lights, thermostats, locks, and some speakers with amps. Also, I would make sure you're well versed in the bakpak, over, and the pakedge gear.

Best of luck!! Welcome to the community. Great choice to go with Control4.

  4. So garages I usually recommend customers that already have c4 in their home to go with a C4 garage retrofitted opener. If it's a new construction project I wire it straight to an EA5 or ea3, since they have the built in relays and contacts. Or for a retrofit, I do it with a Zigbee z2io and the nyce zigbee garage door sensor.

Keep in mind you can also integrate a Myq driver for $200 from drivercentral.. But it's sometime a little slow, but works ok if you're trying to get it hooked up quickly.

Have you been able to get it to work? When I go to the Google Home app on my phone and try to link something, I selected Control4 and put in my credentials. It says "Control4 is Linked" - wheel spins - it says "Something went wrong. Try again.". Over and over. In customer.control4.com I go to Voice Control and see Google. I select "Discover Devices" and it tells me that it's unable to add any devices from Google Assistant and to try later.

    I must be missing something.

I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but will do back in the lab when I return..

Actually Control4 audio comes out less expensive per zone, once you get into larger system sizes.  Here is a great explanation (although dated - now there are more native music services than he mentions)

And of course you can always add a Sonos Connect to the Triad audio matrix, so you'll still have the Sonos option in case you really need something which Sonos provides.

Always share this vid with clients that are on the fence..
