    * Support for Lighting Load Groups to allow grouping of lights. Lights can now be used in combination with Control4's Dimmer Load Group Driver to control groups of  multiple lights, including drivers from other brands (All Lights)

Thanks for the update! But there is still no way to control the color with a colorpicker (os3.3.0) for a group of lamps, right?

  2. i don´t get all benefits of RYFF.
Is this just the name of the audio system inside the controller, is it an update or is this a different system on the new "core controller"?
Will the old controllers get ryff aswell?

RYFF provides 24-bit/192 kHz decoding, network-based audio synchronization, and fine-tuning controls like crossover, tone control, and delays. It supports 12 popular streaming services, including Spotify and TIDAL.

isnt this the same than the actual controllers? 🤓

This is the best remote I've come across so far:

    https://www.unfoldedcircle.com/remote-two

Oled touch screen and backlit buttons.

The best feature is you don't need c4 👍👍

its the commerical product from morton. the guy who invented "yio". He was a beta tester from the original neeo remote and worked close to the developer team.

he tried to find a suitable solution to keep the remote up to life. he did a great job for the entire neeo community. kudos to him.

  4. even if this would be the holy gral of all remotes. i won´t spend a single dime for Raphael Oberholzer.

He ripped of all early bakers and users of the original neeo remote. he sold the device to c4 and stopped all services for the original remote.

so it ended as a brick. he sold a business to c4 which was financed through the whole community.

i hope he get what he deserves.

  5. a client of me wants for his whole house rgbw gu10 spots.

i recomment him hue, but he declines for budget reasons.
so i am searching for a cheaper alternative for c4. any recommendations here?

i gave the shelly lamps a try, but the color mix is aweful. 100% green and 100% red is not yellow for example. its still green. you need to mix 10% green and 100% red to get yellow.

    Advanced lighting scenes

yes, but if you have 20 ceiling spots in one room, it would be a lot of work to set them all to the same color. :)

there is normally no need to set each lamp to a different color.

way easier to set a lightning group for hue lamps for example.

It's also clear-cut case of copyright infringement, so I suspect we'll never see it internationally (any distributor willing to touch this would do so expecting to have to fight a lawsuit).

Bad news :(, but thanks for your reply.

This seams to be what neeo should be. at least on paper. but i understand what you mean. i couldnt find any reviews aswell. Just an unboxing..

  8. there is a beautyful tuya remote which looks awesome. didnt had it in the hands meanwhile.
Voice assistent, color wheels, rgbww,  keyboard control.. sorry to say, but it seams like a successor of the Neeo.

do you plan any support for devices like hat?

I’ve had C4 since 2008 and in multiple homes. My family has enjoyed the benefits of home automation since before most knew what home automation was. Although I have not seriously looked at options, I highly doubt there are much better systems that fully integrate the automation of a house on one platform.

C4 is still the best for multimedia. But its sadly to see that they lose touch for the rest of smarthome things.
Development of new features is extremly slow against other systems. :(
