I’ve been running DTV on IP using a 260 and a Neeo for the last year. Zero issues. Controlling a genie, mini box, and even a Samsung RVU client. Never misses a beat.

Can you share what the cost is? And if you’re willing to facilitate that for us?

Logged into my customer account and it shows my controller hasn’t checked in since 2/24 and I’ve been having 4sight issues since then. Is there a way I can check something or do I need to get a dealer involved?

I have the same problem and want to attempt this replacement, but I’ll have to try and find another supplier. The shipping on those guys is pricey!

Is it possible to fire an image full screen in an announcement? I'd love to build a full image with a ton of info formatted nicely instead of just using the text part of an announcement.

My only concern with making them one project, would be if the internet every went down, and then we'd have a dead site.

The site to site VPN is pretty handy for a host of reasons. I love being able to pull up my cameras from both places easily on the network.

Glad to hear someone else does this. Another fun thing I tried, was adding a EA1 at my primary house, running on the project of the secondary house. So then I could pair remotes and a keypads to the other house. Totally unnecessary, but cool none the less

Does anyone have any ideas on how to best link two homes together. I think what I'll end up doing, is web hooks and ifttt to make some things happen, but id love to have a keypad by the door at each home with some buttons to trigger things at the other site. For example: Push a button that says "Headed to the Lake" and it could shut down everything at our main residence, put some devices in away mode, and then turn the A/C down at the lake house and get things there ready for our arrival there. both houses are site to site VPNd.

And just like that, my Apple TV is no longer in the project, and I have a nice new Roku in it's place. Apple makes me sad.

My project had to be reloaded last night, and now my Apple TV is in the same boat. Cant get it to reintegrate to save my life. About to just let it sit in the closet to act as my HomeKit hub and replace it on the tv with a Roku.

My guess is, you need to select TV/ANT as the source through your watch menu to enable the transport controls youre looking for. Just selecting the TV, and then navigating around clicking on everything isn't very efficient. Add mini drivers for all your apps you like to use, and then also have a "TV" setup to watch your OTA channels.

No they're turned on. I'm guessing the driver is sending some command to the TV along with the correct one that it cant understand. Because it also does it when changing inputs.

Adding an older Samsung TV in the guest room with serial control. I get total control over the TV with serial no issues, but whenever I command it to change volume, or anything really it pops up on the screen and says "Not Available" any idea what that could be? tried several different Samsung serial drivers Samsung UN40C6300

I use web hooks to do all the things I would want to be able to accomplish from my computer. Have them all saved as bookmarks in my toolbar in safari.

I use mine to do several things. When the last person leaves home, it checks to see if my "guests" variable is active. If it is, none of the below happens. Powers down all TVs and lights during the day, sets certain lamps on during the evening/night. If the Roomba hasn't run yet on that day, it starts up and cleans certain rooms. while cleaning, it turns lights on and off so it can see better. while we're away, certain push notifications get enabled, such as motion on the front porch. Also, I changed the way I'm tracking us after the life 360 nonsense went away. I now use Apple HomeKit to track us. Through a HomeKit automation, it triggers a web hook in IFTTT and that pushes the change to C4. Seems to be working really well.

Do you have a variable for both of you separately? That’s what I loved most about Life360, was not having to track each of us separately.

Ive been using a mix of Life360 and IFTTT to track my wife and I leaving the house to trigger scenes, but it appears Life360 is ending their support for that platform. Any other recommendations for doing that?

I'd love to see the C4 app check my location and load the project based on where I am. If I'm at House 1, open that one, if I'm at House 2, that one. Then maybe if neither, open the last you had open
