  1. Me too -- have done a controller reboot or two for other reasons but (fingers crossed) still haven't had the issue since last week! Now if we could get an all local August driver! (Half kidding as it's still great hardware, and by extension, more average-consumer oriented, but can dream!)
  2. I’m having a similar (in some ways) problem so am curious to see what you find. Specifically, I have time-of-day-specific scenes tied to (the invoking of) bonded scenes on all of my keypads (each room’s on/off). About 1/15 times it doesn’t work, in a random room, which is odd. My keypads/lighting are all Zigbee, so I’d thought mesh quality might be the issue. Now I’m not so sure. I do have UniFi APs (though running on Pakedge switches/router) and, although all of the C4 stuff should be on the hardwired network, just disabled broadcast filtering (thanks to/for the tip above.)
  3. Haha, yeah -- just relocated south, to the suburbs and built a house -- always wanted integrated tech so went a little crazy. Most exciting thing (to me) is they're all LG's GX OLEDs, which in addition to the rich picture, sit art-flush on the wall. Have wanted that for years and timing worked out perfectly with their release! Now just gotta get C4 dialed in so wife is sold on the vision/ROI, jk.
  4. Don't know if ya'll have done anything yet, but mine lasted over 48 hours for the first time this week. Great it's being worked on! (Love the forums, of all types, for this reason.)
  5. (As I mentioned in another thread, I'm new to C4 as of the past few months.) This is a big issue, and in a strange way, I'm glad pre-reading/researching this forum prepared me for it. I have about 150 lighting devices in the house and the issue is everywhere. Odd that C4 nailed it with nearly all aspects of the lighting product but has let this linger (given how critical it is to many). Even odder that the frequently-mentioned solution of allowing 'averaging' or programming based on multiple sensor readings hasn't been implemented (as it's seemingly cheaper/easier than the hardware change). I appreciate the solution of reverting to TOD or other programming, but that defeats the purpose of having (and paying) for all these ambient light sensors, including the aesthetic of the latest 'dark spot' sensor...
  6. Didn't mean to curse you, ha. Thankfully, this feels like an easy fix once they take a look at it. The driver seems otherwise flawless up until (for me) the 48-hour cycle...
  7. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm on version 2007.
  8. Hey all -- joined to post this but looking forward to more. New to C4 but not programming. Have been able to work through most issues with my new system, but I'm still having trouble with the August driver, specifically locked/unlocked status. (Which is critical to my confidence in integrating the hardware.) I saw a few threads mentioning this issue but no definitive fix. I'm using the latest Cinegration driver, and while it's an improvement, the status of my (four) locks freezes every ~48 hours. Rebooting the EA-5/Director solves it, but that's not sustainable. Anyone figured it out? Seems like a code bug.
  9. Having just went though this, wanted to agree with you and leave this for others to consider: I wasn’t thrilled with the price of the (Infratech) box either. But given I was already deep in it, I’m glad I bought, as the functionality/quality is nice. (Also a pretty future-proof design.) With the 0-10V dimmer, I get independent control of four dual-element heaters and linear dimming through the range — it’s great. Tangent, the dimmer providing a hardwired/backup capability is nice too. Prior to my integration, I’d bootstrapped something with $20 in parts to turn them on — FYI to DIYers, these things draw a lot of current and can interfere with other tech. if using inferior parts. For example, my LED lights buzzed house-wide at partial heater power. Not saying it can’t be done cheaper (and props. to those who put in the research/legwork), but I think the product folks got the pricing strategy right on this one.
