I had a quick look at the documentation. Any dealer familiar with Modbus and the Yatun Modbus driver would be able to link any of these fields into C4 for you relatively easily.
You would need the Yatun Modbus RTU driver and their (free) variable driver.
Once the physical connection is made, it would take someone a couple of hours to get Control4 connected using this driver and another hour or two to setup and test whichever variables you want access to / control of.
I have worked with my dealer to link up 4 or 5 different devices via Modbus (Yatun driver) and it is not too difficult once you understand Modbus and the driver.  I must admit that neither of us knew Modbus or the Yatun driver when we started the first project and we thus took a couple of days to do what should have taken an hour or two.  Up until now, we have always used the Yatun Modbus IP driver.  We are (in the next month or two - when I can find a morning that both my dealer and I are free) going to link up a DAB pump which requires the RTU driver. I have read the driver documentation and apart from one additional step in the set up (essentially creating a driver file that uses the correct baud rate etc. as this - and other items - is not a parameter but rather an xml edit) the process and setup is the same as the IP driver (admittedly, wiring is slightly more complex also).
If you do go this route, make sure you get the RTU driver licence as a licence for the IP driver will not (AFAIK) work on the RTU driver.

I use Modbus (and the Yatun Modbus driver) to read voltages from my Solar equipment and from my Generator in order to tell when there is a powercut as well as when the Generator is running (and I read various other variables).
Prior to this, I used a simple contact (transformer plugged in before a UPS into a contact on a controller after a UPS - I think) to tell if there was power on a given phase.

Thank you for information.  I bought a VeraPlus that should arrive in a few days.  I’m hoping I can transfer my current zWave network configuration from the Homeseer to the Vera and make it the primary.  Otherwise, I’ll have to rebuild the network — which would be a major pain because I’ve got some devices in hard to reach places.  Most of my switches are Leviton Vizio RF +, and supposedly they will push their status.
I read about the Vera purchase and assuming I get everything up and running, I will leave the Vera alone - no updates.  That Flex device from Brazil looks great, but I think I saw that it was hundreds of dollars which, in my case, with so few zWave devices, would not make sense.

The Zwave  control 4 module and the drivers are added to my system. With an aeotec range extender 6 . My problem is some of the zwave recepticals are inconsistent at times because of the distance. I need to add another extender aeotec 7. It has been a while but I do believe that I added the extender 6 myself but I cannot find any instruction on how to do this. I was hoping someone on this forum and was able to help. Thanks

Not sure how committed down the ipad path you are, but I'm doing something similar with android tablets and figured I'd share just in case you were looking for other ideas.
I have (5) Samsung a7 and a8 tablets running kiosk software to the c4 app (cheap tablets, nothing fancy).
My favorite part is using them as replacements for bulky indoor cameras to stream back to my nvr 24x7 (with audio). It just runs in the background, doesn't interfere with usage. Macrodroid to dim and brighten the screens at certain times of the day and night (and to help with some basic tablet management). Screensaver after 5 minutes.
In android, there is a setting to allow the batteries to only charge to 85% and another to disable fast charging. I'm using 24v passive Poe into a small buck converter to essentially just trickle charge the tablets. I have the injectors on a kasa power strip in my AV closet timed to charge for 4 hours, discharge for 4 hours.
Using inexpensive 3d printed mounts. Working on color match painting one right now before we deploy a few more.

I'd try doing a FTUE restart first.
NOTE: You will have to re-connect the Wifi and to the controller if you do this:
Power off the remote, by holding the power button Turn on the remote, by pressing and releasing the power button, and as it's booting, press and hold the 'back' button. Continue to hold the 'Back' button until the remote comes up with the greeting screen. When you get to the 'greeting screen', you can then go through the first-time user setup.  If you choose the same room as the remote was setup in previously, it should attach to the same driver as previously, and settings should be saved.
