Marcus_R
All, my client would like to have the screen come down when he is watching something. I used the "power state change" event but then the screen also comes down when he is only listening. Anybody an idea how I can only catch the "watch" event in programming? Thanks, -Marcus
sonic30101
Room control driver is the easiest way to do it

lippavisual
Or when projector turns on, drop screen. projector turns off, raise screen
Marcus_R
This is how I had it first, but projector status is coming in really late. Client wanted to screen to come down earlier. I hope the "room controller" will work now.

This is actually fairly normal for serial or network drivers, as the projector doesn't report on or off untill it's fully powered up or down. Room control driver will work well for this, or old fashioned, just program on room on/off with the available variables (as per above, post) While the room control driver is great, my pet peeve is that this has always been available reliably to end-users and dealers alike, and room driver requires dealer intervention (adding a driver) sonic30101
