chopedogg88
V2 currently requires Os3. We are working on a version for 2.10.6.If you have Composer pro you can backup your project before updating the driver. Then open virtual director in one Composer instance and load your backup project file. In another composer window, open the project on the controller. Redefine your triggers in the v2 driver, then just copy/paste your programming from the backup. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

samsong
The epic systems website does not mention anything about 2.10.6. Should I wait before upgrading my 2.10.6 to the v2 driver ? Thanks

About one or two of my Alexa commands work but that's it. Why would a few work, but most not? FYI - I am on 2.10 - I think 2.10.
ILoveC4
Ah - the pitfalls of reverse engineering. Compatibility/continuity is never truly guaranteed. Often times it’s a quick path to a very bumpy road.
drmark12pa
I couldn't figure out why Alexa suddenly wasn't acting on my commands though she would say "OK".... I have 3.0 so obviously my 1.8 driver isn't working now either. Has anyone transferred their old programming from the 1.8 driver to the 2.0 driver yet? I'm guessing I'll have to have my dealer do this? I have a ton of programming using the driver.
chopedogg88
I've migrated several systems over. Typically I"ve just taken a backup of the project, opened it in virtual director (requires Composer Pro), and then copied/pasted the programming after re-defining the triggers. Whole thing usually takes about 30 minutes or so (obviously depends on how many triggers you have). If you don't have composer pro, you could copy/paste the programming to a macro (either separate macros for each trigger, or dump it all into one macro), and then copy/paste from there. That could all be done in HE.

That might be the best and I wouldn't have to worry about missing anything via Composer HE

mav3r1ck
@chopedogg88 What's the current status for 2.10.6?
chopedogg88
No change. My partner who developed the driver is out of the country dealing with some personal stuff and can't work on it till he returns in early November.Best bet if you must stay on 2.10.6 is to purchase a Gen 1 Echo on ebay and use it with the v180 driver. mav3r1ck
This counts for the Gen 1 Echo "DOT" as well? I hope your partner finds a suitable solution in November.
chopedogg88
Not sure on the Gen1 Dots, haven't had a chance to test those. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
