scottg61376
Said that they were proactively reaching out due to an issue with my 1000v3 and would be replacing it. Very strange, anyone else know the scoop behind this?I haven't had an issues thus far.
dgbrown
There's a known issue with the DOM on a specific batch of the V3's. They likely want to RMA it before it fails.

pharmdsmith
There is a patch that can be run if the Dom chip isn't too far gone. Otherwise C4 is RMA the units. They are proactively notifying the dealers. The chip was used for a certain date range of 1000 production. I can't remember it off my head. There is a tool that can be run to determine the Dom state. The dealer that got me my HC1000V3 is no longer in business. Do they go off the dealer that sold it, or the dealer that is registered as your dealer in my.control4.com? pstuart
Same here, dealer that sold it isn't in business anymore. Would like to know if my 1000 is going to die soon too.

HC1000s shipped between July 1, 2010 and December 23, 2011 could be affected.

kaarchie
I believe if your dealer is out of business you get switched to a COntrol4 House Acct for dealer of record and they will be able to check your 1000 through thatI believe
