RocketJSquirrel
I know there are some old threads on this forum on the same topic, but some of them point to dead web sites. And now that we've survived the Mayan Apocalypse, I thought I'd start a new thread.I'm a C4 newbie. I have ComposerHE 2.3 and would like to set up TV channel icons so they'll appear on my iPad & iPhone. I was able to download my channel lineup (Comcast digital) via ComposerHE. But only a handful of channels had icons, and those icons were all very low-resolution and not very pretty. So if anyone has any pointers to some nice icons of the proper size and resolution, I'd appreciate learning about them. Prefer not to have to download one image at a time, since I have over 100 channels needing icons. It will be tedious enough assigning them one at at time. Thanks. Cyknight
I just use google - images option. No need to download, just find the image you want, right-click and select copy. When creating or editing media, the option paste from clipboard will be available.
Gary Leeds UK
That also what I did. If you add radio stations click Audio and they appear under the listening icon - Hours of fun - Enjoy
cashmoney
The above works but if you want high quality graphics with a consistent design theme then nothing beats SquareEyes Icons... http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/home

RocketJSquirrel
The above works but if you want high quality graphics with a consistent design theme then nothing beats SquareEyes Icons... http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/homeYes, I used these on my now-idle Harmony One. Of the various SquareEyes flavors, is there one which is a better fit than the others for the C4 iOS apps in terms of size and resolution?
Cyknight
As long as your dimensions are square or close, just get as high as you can find - C4 automatically resizes as required.

cashmoney
The above works but if you want high quality graphics with a consistent design theme then nothing beats SquareEyes Icons... http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/homeIF they have the channel you are looking for. I did a search on predominately kids channels and came up near empty. Not all icons are standardized as I saw. I have used this with good results-http://logos.wikia.com/wiki/LogopediaReally, nearly empty? What channels are ya looking for? I can't think of a kids channel they didn't have when user it up for my kids.
CFUG
Nevermind- I switched over to Chrome and it appears to be working better. Last time I tried this site was with Maxthon and nearly every search was coming back "No Icons Found"
cashmoney
Ahh, good. The site has hundreds if not thousands of icons from around the globe, regular and HD channels.
prabeau
On the Media Cable TV search criteria you are only allowed Zip Codes for a search.Being in Canada what work around have the canucks used. Thanks
Cyknight
Doing it manually is the only way. Frankly as the US zip search just drops EVERYTHING in there, I wouldn't use it anyway. Yo may not have the channels anyway and even if you had the all I prefer limiting the number to the "favourite"channels as it just becaomes too cumbersome otherwise.
