3D - Benn
Hi, I've seen somewhere some one created a UK Sky HD Driver, but I can't find it again, just wondered if anyone knew where it was. The Sky HD Driver that searches in Composer has multiple useless buttons that just confuse most my clients. (Recall / DVR etc) So i was hoping this other driver did not have such buttons. Thanks if you can help!
Matt Lowe
If it is an ir driver. Just edit the driver and delete or modify what you need.
3D - Benn
It's not the IR codes that are the problem its the GUI of the template with none-active buttons.
Matt Lowe
Cable box doesnt have a previous channel button? and for dvr rare that i find a customer with out dvr or even whole home dvr. otherwise i tell them that if they ever buy a dvr that button will work. 3D - Benn
Theres no c4z file on the c4 database for this yet so let us know how it goes. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same IR codeset with the exception of a few new commands.
hank31980
With regard to the Sky-q box, I believe that multi-room can be acheived by adding up to 2 mini Sky-Q boxes to the main Sky-Q box. However would not be interested to locate the mini Sky-Q boxes around the home, as I have a HDMI Matrix type video distribution around the house. I would assume that all sources would be located at the HDMI Matrix as separate HDMI Inputs. Currently I have 2 Sky boxes attached to the Matrix to give me 2 separate HDMI sources of SKY TV around the home. I am thinking that with this new Sky-Q device, I could drop down to just 1 Sky subscription for 1 Sky-Q box, then simply add the other 2 mini Sky-Q boxes to the HDMI matrix in the Equipment Rack/Room as 2 separate HDMI Inputs in addition to the main Sky-Q box? If so I am thinking that I wold then gain up to 3 Sky sources to any attached TV via the Matrix but onkly pay for 1 subscription? Anyone had any experience of this so far? If so please advise.
