My Composer HE 2.6 Won't Connect Anymore

Any ideas? Has worked for years, no real changes.

 

I tired turning off all firewalls and virus and spam things first.

The obvious - you sure the controller IP hasn't changed?

Will it tell you if a project has accidently been locked or something.

Can't figure out why all the sudden it's not working.

'locked' as in root passwod change - yes it would ask for the password.

'locked' as in you can't edit - yes, you would be able to connect but whenever trying to change something you'd get an error.

 

I'm at a loss on the why of it too though.

ca_cert.pem -> C:\Users\<username>\appdata\Roaming\Control4\Composer

Try deleting the top two files and then open HE.

You won't, they're hidden folder and you'll have to set your folder view to 'show hidden' first.

 

PS ^^ not a bad plan to try this but FYI it will force you to re-register etc so have your codes handy.

Also one other obvious question: your HE and system versions are a match right?

On a unrelated note, I did a system restore/reboot to factory specs on my home PC and everything is working fine again.

Which likely did the same as deleting those two files would have done
