drmark12pa
I've noticed in doing some programming that the red button (in the row of 4 colors) seems to mimic the function of the RECORD button on the SR250 remote. Is this the case? I've been using my red button as a light on/off button in the room and the RECORD button I use as a power button. However, it appears the red button also duplicates the RECORD button function
mstafford388
The red button mirroring the record button would only happen if someone programmed that to happen. that would not happen innately.
Matt Lowe
depends on the driver you are using. sounds like this may be with a tivo driver. check your driver properties tab, and programming for that button in the room.
pkkaiser
You can program the button to do anything, so it was programmed that way
drmark12pa
You can program the button to do anything, so it was programmed that wayMine is not programmed to do anything except TOGGLE the light in the room but it is triggering another command that is not showing in programming. South Africa C4 user
I know that my dealer links the coloured buttons to certain functions within the drivers in system design (Composer Pro). I suspect that one may also be able to adjust these in monitoring (Composer HE) - I think I have seen this in the drivers under Monitoring although I have never found the need to change anything my dealer has set up in terms of coloured buttons so have not actually looked... I suspect this is why your red button is controlling the record function...
