casperspooks
Thank goodness I haven't had to resort to this on any of my projects but I've heard that you can cut off the ends of an HDMI cable and use it as a CAT5 for HDMI extenders if running a new cable isn't an option. Curious if any one has had to resort to that and what the outcome was. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
mstafford388
I've never done it but i'd be shocked if that was stable.
Cyknight
Most HDMI 'repairs' will require an HDMI clock adjuster - just cut the end both sides and use it to pull a cat if at all possible - if not, then get a terminal block style unit, and be ready to get a clock adjuster. Still won't be certain though...
