ILoveControl
Hi all Traveling and staying in the good old W hotel. They known for the porn star looking rooms They have really cool button panels next to their beds and by the bathroom. And Now I have keypads, T3s, Neos etc etc but like this button interface. Is anything like this for C4?

brantlmcdonald
This looks like one of the cheap touch panels you can get on alibaba..... which sounds about right for a W hotel. Most of them utilize RS485. There are several companies building guest room management systems; some of the nicer of which are Legrand UX or Schneider EcoStruxure. You’ll find dozens. i would think it’s possible to use the C4 Bus Ethernet Gateway and a modbus driver with C4 to integrate it. But I really have no idea if that works. lippavisual
You don’t get them. That is for MDU/Hotel setups only and no way to get it on your system.

lippavisual
Sure you could always try. But the software that is used in those locations run a similar, but different version of software than what your average home does plus the 485 gateway is for keypads and the driver is made for such. I highly doubt this experiment would work at all.

I do know these touch panels work with a variety of different modbus software apps.... basically just an interface to link a button push to a relay somewhere. they're not too complicated.
