TVs without discrete inputs

How does C4 handle TVs without discrete inputs?  Does it remember that is on HDMI 1 so that if you start a Watch Activity that uses HDMI 1 then it knows not to change the input, but if it is starting an activity that is HDMI 2 then it knows to send an Input Toggle?

A HDMI switch or a new TV is the best option in the long run from a dealer/installer’s perspective, too many support calls as a result of things getting out of sync.

If I charged my minimum call out charge every time I had to fix it, it would very swiftly work out cheaper to get a decent TV instead.

to get any resemblance of discrete commands you need to have some type of discrete input. use that as a starting point and toggle through inputs to the needed one. Many tvs have an antenna input button. Go there and toggle the input until you reach the needed input. its far from bullet proof but has worked in a pinch
