zaphod
How does C4 handle TVs without discrete inputs? Does it remember that is on HDMI 1 so that if you start a Watch Activity that uses HDMI 1 then it knows not to change the input, but if it is starting an activity that is HDMI 2 then it knows to send an Input Toggle? sonic30101
What tv? You need an anchor command like pressing input button then the number command followed by enter, or channel 3 then toggle x number of times in the driver that you build. If the tv has discrete on off it might just be better to use a small HDMI switch depending on the situation
Crustyloafer
A HDMI switch or a new TV is the best option in the long run from a dealer/installer’s perspective, too many support calls as a result of things getting out of sync. If I charged my minimum call out charge every time I had to fix it, it would very swiftly work out cheaper to get a decent TV instead. msgreenf
zaphod
This is an Insignia NS-39D220NA16 TV. I know how to support myself on instances where it gets out of sync, so that isn't a big deal. But I may do the HDMI switch option.
msgreenf
For the time it will take to make it work bullet proof buy a cheap Roku tv and be done w it
zaphod
I might do that too.

Many tvs have an antenna input button. Go there and toggle the input until you reach the needed input. its far from bullet proof but has worked in a pinch
JSTRONG
Did you check on remote central for discretes? I noticed they have some for insignia but not sure if your exact model will work
