Gen 2 dimmer humming

Tokead

Question

I just moved the above dimmer. I’m getting humming when it’s below 100%. I didn’t notice this before.

It was powering 9 LED bulbs. It’s now powering 3 60 watt incandescent bulbs.

Any idea why it’s humming ?

did you switch out the light fixture? could be failing. could be the lights, they should be fine to dim, but try some different bulbs if you can.

That means its forward phase, but with the use of incandescent bulbs thats less of the concern. Were the fixtures installed with the LEDs originally?  V1 lighting does sometimes hum inherently because of the incandescent dimming load. The bulb might use less "energy" when dim but its more strain on the device.

The past light fixtures were transittioned from incadesenet to LED - 9 nulbs. Now one room with 3 incandsecent
