Difference in C4-DIM1-Z dimmers and C4-SW1-Z switches

Recommended Posts

dim is a dimmer, sw is a switch. if you need to use them in more than a single pole application that device goes at the load and a keypad at the other end that just gets power and programming. i would not dim anything but incandescent or mlv with that dinner.

Forward phase is a type of dimming, and so is reverse phase. Adaptive phase can do both. Forward phase is just forward. Legacy stuff was reverse phase.

I have a Snow White auxiliary keypad I’d sell cheap.

Actually, legacy dimmers were forward phase
