jgmass1
Need some guidance on where to start to debug an erratic system. Symptom: Significant lag time (20 to 30s) in system response to a SR260 remote command (pwr on or off; channel up/down; vol up/down; etc), as well as Alexa voice command, and a scheduled macro. System: 1 EA3 and 1 EA1; EA3 is in Master Bedroom; EA1 in Family room; Have Caseta lighting integrated (20+devices) + Vera Plus with motion sensors + Alexa units in various rooms + C4 Zwave module. House has multiple WiFi AP's for coverage I am thinking network issues, but also could be radio interference. Any thoughts/direction is appreciated

Any new drivers installed or OS updates recently? Did you do any changes to your network - adding in new access points or changing up the backbone? or did this behavior just appear over night? mstafford388
First place I'd look would absolutely be the network. After that Zigbee, not just interference but do you have multiple ZAPs on the same ZServer, sufficient coverage etc. I'd also check the CPU usage on director to make sure you're not overloaded. msgreenf
jgmass1
Thanks for the replies so far. Problem started several months back - but has gotten progressively worse. A re-boot of the entire network helps for ~1 day, but then comes back with increasing frequency. There were some changes: addition of the Zwave module to control two Zwave outlets plus a 2nd SR260 remote; A new Wifi AP (Ubiquiti) for the network I'll check the CPU usage tonight. Thanks again
OceanDad
I'd start by disabling the Zwave module for a few days, and see if things improve.
vitali
1. it may be Zigbee wifi Zwave issue. need to check channels. 2. some programs going in loop (had that issue in the past) 3. May be dying controller.
