Centralised bus Ethernet

Hi, wondering if anyone has had similar problem or could help, I’ve got a centralised system and I keep having to revisit the site as the bus Ethernet gateway keeps going offline and in turn all the keypads, I feel like I’ve checked everything, I have to keep sddp it in to the project, it’s driving me mad and obviously the customer too.

Change to IP address instead and also make sure you’re using battery backup.

when you say battery back do you mean ups fr the router,

Ups for any control modules part of the lighting/control system.

Hmm weird, never had an issue where a re-id was needed, and no never had to use ip. Worth a shot though.

Only issue i've seen is if a power supply is close to maxed out that on a power cycle the initial draw is too high and the powersupply freezes up.

Could be a lot of things (including network). 

Whenever I've come across this, turning off RSTP to all the ethernet gateway helped (if you're using the workarounds used for Sonos, or STP instead of RSTP on Unifi, this is 99% the cause). 

 

Also, just wondering why you have to use SDDP?
