cybuch
I added a Halo to my system a month ago and it works great (except the delay when it sits for a bit and you press a button). I have an issue with DTV and IP control, it works great with DTV on IP control, but randomly it will stop controlling DTV and I have to reboot my controller to get it to work again. Anyone else have this issue?
joecheech
Could it be an IP conflict? I just went through this - pulled out my KASA K400 outdoor plug for the holidays and when I plugged it in it grabbed my TV's IP address and caused a few days of headache. Matt Lowe
deff sounds like an issue with the dtv box or the network. The halo remote would not be directly communicating to the dtv box so it would not care.
cybuch
I have static IPs for the DTV and nothing else on the network has a conflict. It only affect DTV, nothing else. I will call TS tomorrow and see what they can find. I will report back.
Cyknight
Are the DTVs on reserved or static addresses? Could be as 'simple' as C4 looking for the device on a different IP than it's at, and depending on the DTV it may not be broadcasting out it's identifier (regularly)
