  1. Prompt, reliable, trustworthy, high-value are just a few ways to describe Mitch's service.
  2. Could it be an IP conflict? I just went through this - pulled out my KASA K400 outdoor plug for the holidays and when I plugged it in it grabbed my TV's IP address and caused a few days of headache.
  3. This one has been frustrating me for several months. Have had DLNA server (Twonky ver 8.5.1) via QNAP NAS for a couple of years and it's been relatively stable. I tweaked a few things on my NAS security this summer after a Ransomware scare and have been unable to get the Twonky server online on my EA3 ever since. Anyone around that can help troubleshoot? All I've done is tap "Rediscover Server" under the Actions tab in HE. Unsuccessful! Feel free to ask for details, not sure what else to offer without some direction. Thanks!
  4. I have a traditional doorbell chime, connected with an Axxess chime relay and Axxess doorbell button. System has been working perfectly since installation in Jan '20. Battery in the doorbell died and i replaced with a standard 1.5v AAA lithium battery (comically, I ordered the Axxess replacement battery which is 3.5V high density battery, only to learn that the 'version 2 doorbell buttons' can actually accept a 1.5v Li). #maybetheycant? #maybeIhaveVersion1? I made the decision to use the 1.5v Li based on looking at the sticker inside the button which said "1.5V"... Anyhoo, since I popped the new battery in, the damn doorbell chimes every 25 minutes. Interestingly, in my Composer HE Properties The button set to 'check-in' every 25 minutes so it appears, to my untrained eye, that every time the doorbell button checks in, it rings the chime. Other than popping out the old battery and popping in the new battery, I did nothing else in terms of tapping any of the reset / programming buttons on the device. Any ideas on how to get my life back, doorbell-ically?
  5. Weird, I'm entering the new password through my iphone app and keep getting the message that I'm locked out. Apologies for being a dummy about this.
  6. Good morning. Had to reset my sirius password and can't remember how to enter the new password into C4. I'm sure it's something quite simple but forgot. Thanks!
  7. Still having this issue, quite flummoxed. Anyone else having this problem? Literally every other command works fine, except room off won't turn the (damn) thing off.
  8. Well, so this same issue has crept up again on me after Samsung pushed a firmware update. I tried a hard reboot and it didn't resolve the issue as it had last time. Also did a repairing with my remote dealer and that didn't work either. @Matt Lowe, I will take a look tonight and see if MAC address is unknown. I take it I'll see this on the TV's network settings menu? Side Question - TV is set to automatic firmware updates - if I switch to manual updates will this prevent a future driver breakdown?
  9. I have a 2020 Frame TV that is acting up. Been in my project since last June and worked great. There was a firmware update the other day and since then it won't turn off using C4. It turns on and functions great, while on, it just won't turn off with C4. Have to use factory remote to turn the damn thing off. We re-paired it today and that didn't fix it. Any tips on how to address this? Thanks in advance.
  10. You can get direct from Twonky and install manually. QNAP dropped support to feature their own DLNA server which unfortunately isn’t supported by C4.
  11. I have a QNAP NAS and was never able to get the device to show up either. I instead got the DLNA driver and use Twonky server to read my media files. Works great, I only use it for music, but i have my entire music library available. Be careful with those QNAP NAS, there have been a lot of security issues / ramsomware this year. Google search for details, there are some patchs you need to download to remedy, if you havent already. https://www.helpnetsecurity.com/2021/04/26/qnap-nas-ransomware/
  12. Used the NYCE sensors on my gates and they work well. I put clear tape over them and the water stays out. Has been about three years and other than landscaper accidentally smashing one of them this spring, have been flawless.
  13. These numbers look pretty good to me. I'll take $75MM in EBITDA all day long. ~40% YoY revenue increase, GPM up 180 bps. What's the balance sheet look like?
  14. Yes, looking to upgrade my FIOS boxes to the new FIOS TV One boxes, but concerned about potential bugs or compatibility issues with C4. Feels like an easy swap but just not sure. Integration with existing ARRIS boxes was really just an IR bud from each box to my EA controller. From what I gather the new boxes at least have an IR port on the back. Thanks, again.
  15. Hey thanks for the reply @eggzlot, yes that is the new FIOS TV One box.
  16. I've been holding off on switching over to the new FIOS boxes out of fear of breaking/ruining my integration. I have two older ARRIS boxes, the "large" one and a "satellite" and they both use an IR bud to integrate. Performance with the ARRIS boxes has slowed significantly in the last 6 months so I may have to upgrade. Can someone who has converted answer a couple of quick questions: 1. please confirm that the IR Buds are no longer needed with the FIOS TV One boxes. 2. Do I also have to convert to the new FIOS router? (I have the Actiontec router and it seems to work fine. I have wifi switched off in favor of using WAPS 3. How smooth did the conversion go, any nightmares getting correct drivers installed? 4. How is response time on the new boxes? 5. Any remote programmers (@msgreenf) able to help me with the conversion? Thanks everyone!
  17. Perfect timing... happens 3-4x per month with this piss-poor “SmartTub” cellular connection. Started heating the tub for tonight - rain came up in forecast - popped open the app to reduce temp and (right when I need it the most) app craps out.
  18. I did spend a few more minutes on this and note that Jacuzzi has TWO smart platforms - Pro-Link which according to the internet - does connect to your WIFI and SmartTub (what I have) which only connects through cellular. Regardless, I think you'll still need their API in order to be able to integrate anything other than power cut. Let us know if you get anywhere.
  19. Not sure if @South Africa C4 user has a Jacuzzi Brand tub or not, feels like he may have a custom tub integrated with his pool. Are you sure your Jacuzzi is connected to your WIFI? I ask because I have been fighting with Jacuzzi Official on Instagram about how their setup works and they insist that Prolink uses cellular connection to link to your tub and electronic device, spewing nonsense that WIFI does not go through walls or water and that their method provides the most trouble free connection. I think they still think it's 2010. Does your Jacuzzi have an IP address on your network? Mine does not, not even recognized on my network. Of course, I'm in the US so may be different. Also just doing some quick math - if you are paying £64.95 per year ($90 USD) for Pro Link that seems like a huge ripoff. I am paying $29 USD per year (about 20 PS) and still too much if you ask me! You should check into that too. Still feeling like the method you are mentioning above might not be a great idea, even if you can get it to work. As I see it, without API from Jacuzzi, you will only be able to cut power to the tub / turn on power to the tub. Not a great idea IMHO because even when the tub isn't heating, the circulation pump and Clearay UV light need to be operating to keep the tub sanitized. For every hour you are cutting power to the tub, you lose those. Disclaimer - I'm not an expert so don't quite understand those energy saving nodes you mentioned, apologies if I'm in over my head.
  20. A lot of tubs have various "eco" modes, mine for example, only heats between 5pm and 1am when eco is active, so integration is not critical. I like it at 102 when I'm in it, so when I get out I drop it to 95 degrees and the next evening I increase it back to 102. If there was a reliable integration path, that is where Scheduler would really help me out.
  21. From my research and discussions with Jacuzzi, there is no current solution that integrates with C4 and none planned. Their ProLink subscription works as follows: The unit in your tub communicates with their servers and your device via cellular. There is no LAN port to connect to your switch and no wifi to connect to your network. They do this so that they can sell you an annual subscription. Another solution, which will totally void your warranty is to insert a contact sensor like cardaccess or otherwise in the power loop, but that really doesn't accomplish anything because the Jacuzzi isn't an on/off device. Others may have other opinions. In my house, I use the lame Jacuzzi Pro-Link and it's basically there just so i can check the temp and increase / decrease temp, so not totally useless. It can be buggy at times, mainly getting a "cant connect to the tub" notification when trying to use it, but that is solved by doing a circuit breaker power cycle. IMHO, let this integration wish die and use the pro-link.
