like this?

The key is to get to something like this with 1 click (or even to flip between homes in 1 click).  In the current iteration of the iOS app it takes 3 clicks to get to a screen such as this (and the new C4 screen for this is a big improvement - look and feel - compared to what was previously available). And it takes 4 clicks to actually swap from 1 house to another.  It also not all that intuitive what the first 2 of these clicks are.

Yeah the example is from Crestron home where it is a 1 click function that has been in place for about 4 years.  I am not sure about Savant.  For Josh it's a 2 button click.

It would be really nice if one could favourite a second residence to the Home Screen on the app.  This would make flipping between residences so much easier!

+1

now that I am thinking about it, it would be nice to have a geo tag or Director ip tag based on wifi connection so when I am on a property and open the app it will connect to the current property and not the last connected.

Hopefully they can do what you are describing soon.  This is pretty much covered ground with solutions already in place for the other major control systems.  This is something where C4 is years behind on development or attention to what you're needing as a use case, let alone an elegant and simplistic way to view, access and swap between residences.  It really doesn't need to be rethought since this has already been solutioned by others to be leveraged if it is a priority.

This is good feedback and I don't disagree. I'll definitely submit an enhancement request with the feedback here. This isn't a reason not to add a feature like this (and I'm certainly not a UI designer 😅), but it's probably worth noting that the power users in these kinds of forums likely switch systems a lot more than the average user.

its great to have c4 employees here that allow more "client near" feedbacks. thumbs up! the c4 tech community is really quite.
i think the average user has maybe just one home, but i got also clients that need to switch their app-location frequently. (home/office/cottage)
