Basic Question - Editing a Variable Value in Composer

Recommended Posts

Sorry for what I am sure is a very basic question but I am struggling for some reason...  I have a command in Composer which is effectively "If [variable] EQUAL TO [value]" which a dealer setup for me - I just want to copy this and edit the value so I can replicate the same action with a different value - I can copy the programming (both the IF function and the resulting actions) but I cannot figure out how to change the value.  How do I edit this please?

Thank you!

Thank you. So I can’t edit an existing If statement but I see how to create a new one and I can move the actions to the newly created If statement.

Thanks for your help

I'm pretty sure you have to recreate the statement, you can't edit a statement.

You can copy the programming and paste it into an XML editor (or text editor), modify it, copy it back to the clipboard and paste it into your programming but it's error-prone, and the description would need to be modified as well as the statement itself.

Feel free to try it, but if you mess it up, it's on you...  :)
