Recommended Reciever

What is currently the recommeded A/V receiver for integration with control4. Looking at the Yamaha Rx-a1000 or maybe Denon. Also using sonos for the rest of the house.

I like Integra.

Both good equipment with similar feature sets available at varying price points.

Consumer note: Integra's are typically only available via a dealer channel. You can't pick them up in Best Buy. Although there are Onkyo equivalents .. sort of.

Rotel amps with autosense for ZP90's (if you want something better than the amp in the sonos ZP120)

I think others have run the ZP90's altogether through the multizone C4 Amp. Just depends on your multiroom audio layout...

I am pretty sure that BB means Best Buy. That's where I would check.

Yes Best Buy, you'll have to check them out in person in your area. Each one I went to in GA was around the same price range. But still under $300 at all of them. Ended up getting my at the BB in Gwinnett

Neil, you found the Denon 2311CI for under 300.00 at BB. Locally they are quoting 899. I called and got the same price as there website.

Edit, hold on folks, my bad, it's the 2310ci not the 2311ci. Still a great deal though. My HK was getting some miles on it, so this was a great buy.

Where are you able to pick up the 2310 ci for just 300? I can't find the price online, so I am assuming this is an in-store sale only.

I just bought a Yamaha RX-A700. It is my first however and I am extremely happy with it. I am coming from an all-in-one with no active subwoofer so any receiver would probably impress me at this point.

In store only, price will vary by location and they will not "match" other locations prices. I was lucky enough to be close to the store that had the lowest price.
