  1. Hi All, I'm using the TP-Link driver for Kasa from Chowmain For the first time, I installed 2 outlet Outdoor plugs. I have the Chowmain driver set up and reporting Output 1 and Output 2, and i can turn them on/off in Composer. But what driver do I add, and where can I get it, so they show up on my remotes/TPs ? thanks.
  2. I was running smoothly, but not smooth enough. I'm confused why it still is written as an intel app, thus using Rosetta to run arm-based windows. What a mess. But it's a free mess
  3. I might try the mac mini approach for giggles...... There's a bug for sure with Docker that I can't figure out. I can get Lighting Scenes to work, but devices won't show up. Odd as can be. I asked DTI for help but after a few days telling me he needed remote access, he went quiet. I can double check that a map all ports in the config, hopefully ....
  4. Roon was sold to Harman, which is a Samung company. So anyone know if they like control4...my biggest fear is they will move far far away form the drivers that Roon already moved to open source...
  5. I took a gamble on the holiday pricing. I can't get devices to show up in home bridge, even though scenes work. I wanted to see if anyone has it set up and get an idea of the config in the modules. Did you need to specify ports, either in the module or docker? thanks.
  6. Awesome, works perfectly as long as i favorite to the room from the playlist. Any chance you also have an easy way to select Airplay for/through the bluesound from Control4? thanks
  7. I did a favorite to room for one of my tidal playlists, and should note, i play on a bluesound node. Unfortunately, the favs to room won't work. However, I can add it to my bluos Presents. Anyone have an idea?
  8. The comparison is on the website. I ended up using the PRO. vmware still uses intel on the mac Mx processor. The big reason for me going pro, the non-pro is capped at 8MB, so if you want to add memory to a vm, go pro.
  9. I'm fairly sure it been this way. You may have been grabbing the Pro version?? It's also very misleading on the website - if you go look at pricing, I don't think there are any Free options without a time limit. I think you need to just go download and then register a personal license. And if Broadcom charges, i'll go back to parallels. or just UTM.
  10. yeh - No. that's wrong. If you go to the link i have above, go register and you can then create a VM. I couldn't import my parallels (not available for ARM) but just created a brand new VM from the WIN11 ISO.
  11. Free for personal use. https://www.vmware.com/go/getfusionplayer
  12. whiskey is the wrong thing....you'd be wanting Wine instead.
  13. I've been using Parallels for years. My subscription just expired. VMware Fusion works too. Not as fast as parallels and will work better with a lot of memory, but it's free.
  14. @Amr where did you find the control4 mini driver for pandora?
  15. What does your network look like? What are the devices that make up the network? Does this only happen with native C4 music or when playing from your phone to C4? I'm a big believer in going to the basics....strip down the network and see if you can isolate the problem.
  16. I picked up on this in the original description. If the local server is also having the same dropouts, chances are there's a problem in the network that needs to be resolved. Change the DNS, as stated in other posts, but most likely that is not going to solve the problem if it's local. Based on the description, what does your network look like? Do you have a lot of wireless in the mix?
  17. This is an interesting take of MITM attacks. Technically MITM would sit between the user and the DNS to intercept and redirect. By using a Smart DNS, you ASSUME they a legit and not doing illegal redirects.
  18. Smart DNS is legal in most countries. So unless you're currently in China, it's probably not a problem.
  19. There are 2 drivers 1. Roon Server (latest update gets rid of "core") 2. your DAC I didn't know if the rose is the server, dac or both?? FWIW, can confirm I do get the album art if source is from Roon server or Roon playing Tidal. My DACs going to C4 are Blusound and a Hifi Berry PI Hat.
  20. BlueOS, like almost everyone else including C4, does Apple music via an Airplay connection.
  21. If memory serves, the control driver connects to the hydrawise unit and scans for all the zones then you install a zone driver (relay) for each zone
