I rarely had the false “not responding” announcement before about two weeks ago. Before that, on rare occasions but not consistently like it is now. Now it’s every time.
I’ve been seeing this with my Alexa Echo for about a week. We ask her to turn on the living room tv and she immediately says living room Echo not responding but the TV and sound all turn on as normal. Shutting off the room gives the same false negative response from Alexa.
I’m pretty sure you need to enter the Dealer code to be able to change the code. The Dealer code has the highest level of access in the system, even higher than the Installer code.
You will find it under the dealer settings (code 2222) and then Installation/Devices/WiFi Devices/3rd Party Connections. Note that 2.6.2 requires 6 digit user codes for C4 integration to be enabled, so if you currently use 4 digit ones you will have to change.
Any ideas? The Nest status in C4 is never in sync with the Nest thermostats when I check. The current temperature and setpoint status are incorrect. I tried rebooting my EA-3 several times, but that didn't help.
Pretty much makes the Nest integration useless.
Thanks,
Dino
Thanks. So it’s just me then maybe. What’s weird is it shows up broken on all my devices, including IOS Safari and PC running Chrome. Maybe something with my account profile?
The formatting of this site is completely broken for me. Everything is unformatted and avatar pictures are huge! Anyone else seeing this? Started around Thanksgiving.
I could barely get to the spot where I could even start this new topic.
Recently noticed my C4 system not properly showing Nest thermostat feedback. The temperatures and set points don’t match reality and what’s shown in the Nest app. If I change the set point on one of them in C4, that seems to fix it and then all stats show correct temperatures (but not always). But after a while they are back to being out of sync.
Any ideas?
Any Happy Thanksgiving!
My town owns and operates an independent cable company (a co-op). We rent the Arris 4K TiVo box which has been great. I’m not sure what happens to us if TiVo goes belly up.
